Mariupol Theatre of Ukraine in Exile brings artists and communities together through documentary, participatory and multilingual theatre. Rooted in Mariupol and working across Ukraine and Europe, we carry the city’s stories into new encounters.

Artists become Living Books, inviting one-to-one encounters with stories of home, displacement and rebuilding.
International recognition
ALASKA is a 2025 laureate of the Art Explora – Académie des beaux-arts European Award. The play was also included in the European Theatre Convention Drama Committee’s Selected Texts 2022.
